The catch
Cheapest is not the same as best value
The cheapest model on a list is almost always the oldest: it costs less because it is worth less, not because the timing is good. A newer model can be the better buy on the day its price drops clearly below its usual level.
That is why we keep a history per model. The useful question is not “what is the lowest number on this page” but “is this price low for this model”. The models below currently sit in the bottom third of their own recent history.
