A useful target is an amount at which you would consider buying. History can show whether it was observed before; it cannot tell you when it will be reached again.

Start with your intended basket
Your total budget includes the chosen configuration and known charges. The tracked entry offer may have different storage or condition. If your variant costs more, an entry-price alert is a reason to check again, not confirmation that your own basket now meets your budget.
Price the benefit of waiting
Subtract your target from the latest recorded amount to calculate the saving sought on the entry price. Reduction scenarios make the budget concrete; they do not announce a coming discount. If your current phone cannot be used, weigh the possible saving against a temporary replacement and choose a deadline for deciding.
Keep the denominator with the hit count
The example counts observed calendar days with at least one reading at or below the target. Two readings on one day do not create two favourable days. A day with no collection remains unknown. A never-seen target can still express your budget, but the series contains no evidence of that offer. Its past hit rate is not a calculated chance of an alert tomorrow.
Understand the price condition
An alert belongs to the selected model and market. A reading at or below the target can meet the price condition; the service's sending rules then apply. Monitoring is periodic, so a short offer may be missed or may have changed before you open the message. No stock is reserved for an alert recipient.
Check the offer after a notification
Treat the message as dated information and make the buying decision on the seller's current page. Unsubscribe when the search is finished.
