Ask about the individual phone

A model specification describes its original capabilities, not the condition of the offered unit. Ask about storage, visible faults, documented checks, known repairs and battery information. Refurbished does not by itself mean that every part or the battery is new. A generic image cannot establish the condition of the device you will receive.

Identify who is selling and who handles problems

The marketplace name alone does not identify the contracting seller. Read its identity, support route and written warranty. Legal rights and an additional commercial warranty are different; the rules depend on the transaction and jurisdiction. Do not assume that a private sale has no possible remedy or that buying from a business eliminates every risk.

Rebuild two comparable offers

Match model and storage, then add delivery and necessary accessories. Record battery and repair information and return conditions. A higher price can pay for a service you value without proving that the hardware is better.

• Documented condition and repairs rather than a stock photo.
• Written battery commitment and final amount.
• Identified seller, proof of purchase and fault procedure.
• Return terms, warranty scope, contact and possible charges.

Put a value on a specific difference

Write down the gap between the final prices and the precise extra service received. If an offer needs immediate repair, use a real quote when adding that cost. Do not invent a repair allowance to make a preferred listing look cheaper. An unknown battery condition should remain unknown until the seller supplies evidence.
